Events and celebrations: This pancaritat has been organized by the cultural association Bany-al-Bahar, for a few years. In Planícia (420m), the dessert of lunch is to be shared. We could say that it is a secular pancaritat; in fact, it does not reach any sanctuary but some houses of possession.
Sanctuary or destination point
The houses of Planícia, documented in the fourteenth century, now belong to a public estate of 442 hectares, owned by the Government of the Balearic Islands since 2009. They are located on the sea side of the Mola de Planícia (933m). There is olive cultivation and, in the upper part, holm oak predominates. It is home to the peregrine falcon, the booted eagle and the toad (endemic amphibian). The ethnological richness of the estate is also noteworthy, with an oil mill, a laundry, several fountains, about one hundred and fifty charcoal burner rolls and seven lime kilns.
