Events and celebrations: At 11:00 a.m., mass in the oratory of Sant Elm and then popular dancing and snack of coques, panades and rubiols. On this day there is usually an open day at the castle. This pancaritat has been celebrated since 1920.
Sanctuary or destination point
The castle of Sant Elm was founded by James II of Mallorca in 1280 and was the first hospital for sailors in the Foreign Part. It features a defense tower with a cannon. The hermitage dates back to 1690. Currently the property functions as a hostel and there is an interpretation center of the coastal defense towers of Mallorca. You can enjoy privileged views of the brake and the isle of Sa Dragonera.
