Ramon Llull European Cultural Route

What is it?

Project to include this route in the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe.

Who promotes it?

An initiative jointly promoted by the Consell de Mallorca, the Cercle d'Economia de Mallorca and the Mallorca Turisme Foundation, as part of the celebration of the Llull Year (2016).

What's pursuing?

To project the figure of the most universal Mallorcan of all time on a European scale and to equate him with other historical figures of the Old Continent who also have their own European cultural route, such as Sant Martí de Tours, Charlemagne, Sant Olav, Charles V, Napoleon or Mozart, among others.

What is it like?

At the moment it is a proposal, which has been led by the Consell de Mallorca, of which public presentations have been made at the headquarters of the European Institute of Cultural Routes (Luxembourg, 2016) and at the European Parliament (Brussels, 2017).
