Patron saint of the Kingdom of Mallorca since 1643, proclaimed by the Great and General Council.
Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve. Celebration of Matins in churches, with the singing of the Sibyl, of medieval origin and today declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

Commemoration of the birth of Jesus. In the houses, the nativity scene (a static and miniature representation of the nativity scene) is usually made. Family reunion party par excellence.
Saint Stephen’s Day

Second Christmas Party or Saint Stephen's Day. Public holiday in the Balearic Islands.
Mallorca’s Day

Day of the Standard or of the Conquest. Traditionally, Day of Mallorca. Commemoration of the entry into Palma of King James I the Conqueror and the Christianisation of Mallorca. Civil holiday with religious connotations.
