Mancor de la Vall

Sanctuary or destination point

The chapel of Santa Llúcia, located on the hill of the same name (330m), is documented in the first half of the fourteenth century. Until the seventeenth century it was a centre of worship for the villages of Biniarroi, Massanella and Biniatzent. Between 1948 and 1952, it was the subject of renovations, with the attachment of a large four-storey building intended for the reception of spiritual activities. In 1973, it became run by the Missionaries of the Sacred Hearts.
