Sanctuary or destination point
The carving of the Virgin of Lloseta is one of the oldest images in Mallorca; its discovery, in the thirteenth century, would have given rise to the construction of a first medieval chapel. However, the current hermitage of El Cocó was built in 1878 on the estate of Son Ramon, and today it has been almost swallowed up by the urban fabric, which has grown considerably in this direction.
