Sanctuary or destination point
At the top of the hill of Monti-sion (250m), now seriously cut off by the intense activity of the quarries, there is a sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin of Monti-sion, represented by a marble figure (s. XV-XVI). The first hermitage dates back to the fourteenth century. The current church began to be built in 1498. There was also a grammar classroom (Latin school) in the past.
