Valldemossa

Pancaritat to the hermitage of the Trinity

Valldemossa

Sanctuary or destination point

The hermitage of the Holy Trinity (480m) is a small monastery founded in 1648 by Joan de la Concepció Mir i Vallès, founder of the Congregation of Hermits of Sant Pau and Sant Antoni. The current chapel dates from 1703. Today (2020) it is the last place in Mallorca where there is still hermit life. It is a place of great beauty, between the sea and the mountains, with fabulous views of the Tramuntana coast.
